The A. Alfred Taubman Center for American Politics and Policy brings together scholars, practitioners, and students from different perspectives to address important problems facing American politics and policy. Since 1984, the Taubman Center has influenced local, national, and global policymakers working at the intersection of research and public engagement. The Taubman Center is one of several research centers within the Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs. Through their research and public engagement, Taubman Center Affiliates provide the intellectual foundation for the Center's work.
The Taubman Center’s programming includes:
- Taubman Center public opinion polls;
- Research through workshops, conferences, and scholarship;
- Engagement with public leaders through a rich speakers series;
- Internship and research funding for students.
